Knitted·Terms of Service
Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us for using Knitted. We've kept it as plain as we can.
The short version
- Knitted is for tracking and information. It isn't medical advice, it doesn't diagnose anything, and it isn't birth control.
- What you track is yours. We only use it to run Knitted for you, as our Privacy Policy explains.
- Knitted Pro is a paid purchase through the App Store, Google Play, or our website, and each handles its own billing and refunds.
- You can stop using Knitted and delete your account at any time.

01This agreement
These terms are between you and Krux Lab LLC ("Krux Lab", "we", "us"), the maker of the Knitted app ("Knitted"). By using Knitted you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. If you don't agree, please don't use Knitted.
02Not medical advice
Knitted helps you keep track of your cycle, a pregnancy, and your baby's first year, and shares general information. It is not a medical device and doesn't provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Knitted doesn't diagnose conditions or detect pregnancy.
- Any fertile window Knitted shows is an estimate from your own history and the signs you log. It is not a method of birth control and shouldn't be relied on to prevent or achieve pregnancy.
- Information about pregnancy, babies, vaccines, and milestones is educational. Talk with your own care team, and your child's provider, about what's right for you and your family.
- Readings from Apple Health, Health Connect, Oura, or other devices may be incomplete or inaccurate.
If something feels wrong, contact your provider. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
03Who can use Knitted
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use Knitted. Information about your child is entered by you, as their parent or guardian.
04Your account
After purchase, you sign in with Apple or Google to create your Knitted account. Keep access to that sign-in secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account. Apple and Google sign-ins create separate accounts. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to yours.
05Knitted Pro and payments
- Paid app. Knitted requires Knitted Pro, offered as a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown before you buy and may vary by country and change over time; a price change never affects a period you've already paid for.
- Who bills you. Purchases in the app are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their terms. Purchases on our website are processed by our payment provider. We never see your card details.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or for a web purchase, through the link in your receipt. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Knitted Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds. Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google under their policies. For web purchases, write to us. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under the law where you live.
- Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it with the store too.
06Your content
What you enter in Knitted (your logs, notes, journals, photos, and answers) is yours. You give us permission to store, copy, process, and display it only as needed to run Knitted for you: to save it to your account, sync it to your phones, and show it back to you. This permission ends when you delete it or your account, except for copies kept for a limited time as our Privacy Policy describes.
Only add content you have the right to add, and please keep a copy of anything you can't afford to lose: Settings › Your data › Export my data gives you everything you've tracked.
07Using Knitted fairly
Please don't:
- break the law, or use Knitted to harm, track, or watch another person without their consent;
- try to get into accounts, data, or systems that aren't yours, or to disrupt or overload Knitted;
- copy, resell, or reverse engineer Knitted, except where the law allows it;
- use automated means to collect data from Knitted.
08Other services
Knitted can connect to services we don't run, like Apple Health, Health Connect, Oura, Apple and Google sign-in, and the app stores. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for them. You can disconnect them at any time.
09Our app and content
Knitted, including its design, text, illustrations, and software, belongs to Krux Lab and its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Knitted on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, while you follow these terms. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
10Changes and ending
- We keep improving Knitted, so features may change, and some may be removed.
- We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or on this page before it takes effect. Continuing to use Knitted after that means you accept the new terms.
- You can stop using Knitted at any time and delete your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
- If we ever stop offering Knitted, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
11Disclaimers and liability
We work hard to keep Knitted accurate, available, and secure, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, Knitted is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, Krux Lab won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Knitted, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Knitted in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer.
12Disputes and the law
If you have a problem with Knitted, please write to us first; most things can be sorted out quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Boulder County, Colorado, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
13Apple and Google
If you got Knitted from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it. In addition:
- These terms are between you and Krux Lab, not Apple. Krux Lab, not Apple, is responsible for Knitted and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Knitted.
- If Knitted fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Krux Lab, not Apple, is responsible for any claims relating to Knitted, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
- Krux Lab, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and handling any claim that Knitted infringes someone's intellectual property.
- You confirm you're not in a country subject to a US government embargo and not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
If you got Knitted from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply to your purchase.
